Experiences you'll have

Journey to the bears of Kamchatka

This tour is for those who want to get the most out of Kamchatka in a short amount of time; for those who are used to comfort and aren’t ready to spend the night in a tent. In just a few days you will become acquainted with the brightest and most interesting parts of Kamchatka, spending the night in the comfort of hotels and the recreational and tourist base «Dvukhyurtochnoye» on the lake.

The tour is guaranteed to be organized on all announced dates. It is possible to join only for a part of the tour with an individual program.

Dvukhyurtochnoye Lake, surrounded on all sides by rugged mountains, is one of the major spawning waters of the peninsula. About 120-150 000 sockeye salmon comes here to spawn each year. About 500 brown bears go fishing and feeding before hibernation on the banks of the lake and its tributaries. Here you can observe the real life of a bear and how it fishes for survival.

In addition to bears, Steller's sea eagles, otters, foxes and mink, which also come to the lake and streams to feed, can be observed. This is a great place to fish for char, rainbow trout, and salmon.

You will meet with geysers and volcanoes, swim in thermal springs and visit the Esso village – the traditional and cultural center of the indigenous population of Kamchatka, which is also called «Kamchatka Switzerland».

In individual groups, the start date of the tour is optional. Let the manager know when you are ready to go. In this case the cost of the trip will depend on the number of tour's participants.
