Itinerary

The journey begins in Irkutsk, Siberia. You should arrive there from Moscow by plane. Direct flight takes around 5 hours.

 

We are ready to assist with the purchase of tickets. If necessary, leave a comment in your application.

Day 1 Olkhon island

You will arrive in Irkutsk in the morning. The guide will meet you in the airport. After that, with off-road vehicles you will be transferred to Baikal (290 km). 

On the way there will be a stop for lunch, where you will taste traditional dishes: sagudai (fish dish), busi (Siberian dumplings), buryat tea. After reaching the lake, you will walk on the ice, explore ice caves, capes of Olkhon island and see one of local Buddhist Stupas. 


In the evening you will come to a holiday base, where you will have dinner and stay for a night.

Day 2 The Small Sea

After breakfast, you will start exploring the Small Sea (170 km). There will be stops to see frozen grottos and caves with stalactites. You will hear legends and myths of Baikal.

 

Lunch will be served right on Baikal ice. After, you will experience various winter activities: ice skating and ice golf. You will make a photo session with ice.

 

In the evening you will come back to the holiday base, where you will have rest and share impressions with each other.

Day 3 Tazheran heath

Today you will start exploring Tazheran heath. You will move to the south with the final stop in Bulguldeika village.

 

On the way you will stop for climbing Tang-Khan hill. Here you will enjoy a fascinating view of Baikal. After lunch on Baikal ice, you will have a walk and explore the surroundings.


In the evenin you will arrive in Bulguldeika. Here, you will visit marble quarry. You will spend the night in the touristic center.

Day 4 A trip on a hovercraft

A trip on hovercraft is waiting for you today. You will move from Bulguldeika village to Listvyanka village.

 

On the way you will visit famous places of Baikal: Arch Cape, Sandy bay, Devil's Bridge. These spots are known for the cleanest ice. There will be lunch on the road.


You will stay in hotel in Listvyanka this night. 

Day 5 Ice rafting

In the morning you will head to the view point by cable lift. In the Listvyanka aquarium you will learn more about the Baikal inhabitants. 

 

After lunch you will try the most unusual activity — ice rafting (1-1,5 hour). We guarantee you complete safety. The ice thickness in March reaches 1meter. After that, you will enjoy Siberian sauna with fir branches and ice bath.

 

After sauna you will get back to the hotel.

Day 6 Departure to Moscow

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport.

Accommodation during the trip

You will spend two nights in a touristic base "Khadarta". It is located on the shore of the lake. Two double rooms have a common bathroom and three double rooms have a facilities in rooms. 

 

One night you will stay in a touristic center "Talovskoe" in Buguldeika village. You will live in double and triple rooms with a facilities on the floor.

 

Two nights you will spend in "Nikola hotel" in double rooms with facilities.
