Baikal ice is a beautiful, but lesser-known Russian attraction. For showing the uniqueness of this natural phenomenon we have organized a photo tour to Baikal. It took place between 11-17 March and was led by Hannes Becker, an outdoor and landscapes photographer from Germany.
There are more than 1.2 million followers on his Instagram account. Canon, Sony, Huawei, Lufthansa and NatGeo have chosen him as their ambassador. Hannes travels a lot around the world, but it was his first visit to Russia. Right after he came back from the tour, we had a chance to meet with him and ask him about his impressions from Baikal ice. Watch the video below.
