How to book and pay for a tour?

Step 1: Submit an application

Browse our collection of tours across Russia and choose where you would like to go.
If necessary, ask our managers any clarifying questions: send an email to hello@russiadiscovery.ru or contact us via WhatsApp/Telegram. Once you have made your decision, submit an application using the form on the page of your chosen tour.
 

Important: submitting an application does not confirm your booking. We will check availability and give you an answer within 1 business day.

Step 2: Provide personal details

After receiving your booking application, our manager will contact you in the way most convenient for you. We will inform you about the availability of spots on your chosen tour and tell you all the important details.
Our manager will also need information about all tour participants. Passport details are required for document processing, and personal details (shoe size, experience, dietary restrictions, etc.) are needed for selecting equipment and organizing a comfortable and safe journey.

Важно: If you wish to add additional services to the tour, for example, air tickets, insurance, or single occupancy, please inform the manager.

Step 3: Pay for the tour

Based on the data received, we will prepare a contract and all necessary documents for you. After that, we will offer you a convenient payment method.
If you want to pay for the tour in currency from your account, you will need to make a transfer to the bank account of our payment partners in Kazakhstan (please note that in this case, a bank commission of 5% of the payment amount is charged).

If you have an account with a Russian bank or know someone with a Russian account, they can make the payment for you without commission:
— online (we will send a link to the payment form)
— in cash or by card at the RussiaDiscovery office in Moscow 

Важно: when booking a tour less than 2 months before departure, a 100% payment must be made immediately. When booking a tour more than 2 months before departure, you can first make an advance payment from 30% to 50% of the tour cost, and pay the balance no later than 45 days before departure. Depending on the season, a preliminary booking is held for 1 to 5 days.

Step 4: Buy tickets

The cost of air or rail tickets is not included in the tour price. You can buy them yourself or with our help. We will help you choose the most convenient and cost-effective option, adding a small commission fee to the purchase amount.

Step 5: Embark on the journey

Answering popular questions

1. Can I pay for the tour from my account without commission?

You can pay for the tour in a way convenient for you:

Ideally, if you have a ruble account: then a transfer from a Russian bank card/account or payment in cash is possible — without commission. This is also relevant if your acquaintances have a ruble account.

If you have an account with a foreign bank: payment via transfer to our partners' settlement account in Kazakhstan. In this case, be prepared to pay a 5% commission charged by the Kazakh bank for processing the payment.

Our goal is to make payment simple and secure, no matter where you are booking from.

2. Can I get a refund if I change my mind about going?

Yes, of course. The refund amount will depend on the cancellation period and the type of travel you booked. You will find the individual conditions in your contract.

The standard conditions are as follows:

30% | 30 to 21 days (before departure)
50% | 20 to 8 days
100% | 7 days or less

If the trip is canceled due to illness or difficult family circumstances, and with supporting documentation, a full refund is possible, excluding direct costs incurred.
