Snowmobiling in Russia can be a ride in the crispy air of the austere mountains, across the sparkling ice of the lakes, in the snow drifts of the fairly-like winter forest – towards the horizon, endless spaces and pristine nature. Quite a different experience is snowmobiling from one small picturesque village to another in quest of own discoveries. In Extreme North one can snowmobile through the Polar Night or start off for a chalenging expedition.
Typically snowmobiling can be combined with other winter activities (cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, downhill or backcountry skiing, dog-sledding, etc)
Baikal (January-April): only in combination with other winter activities & sightseeing or on request
Karelia (January-March): 2-4 days, combination of different tours in one itinerary possible to make a snowmobiling tour of 6 days
Kola Peninsula (December-April): 3-8 days
Chukotka (January-April): 5-10 days. From 2008
Siberia (January-March): only in combination with other winter activities & sightseeing
Ural (January-February): only in combination with other winter activities & sightseeing
