Uleima, Yuhot’ rivers – these names do not tell much to the majority of Russians. But those travelers who have spent a weekend on the shores of these small forest rivers always come back again. The vacation in Yaroslavl region is the harmony with quiet nature - young pine forests, light birch-tree woods, hot summer sun, merry chirruping of the birds... This kayaking undemanding itinerary is for true romantics!
Day 1
Arrival in Uglich on your own in the morning (by overnight train at 6 am or by your car appr 4 hrs from Moscow). Free time in the city (you can have a walk around the town and see the beautiful churches on the bank of the river).
11.00 (time to be confirmed) – meeting your activity instructor and the other tour participants in Uglich, in the office of Putnik (Str Yaroslavskaya 50, office 221).
Transfer to the starting point of the itinerary, safety briefing and start of kayaing along Uleima, a small picturesque flowing among the woods. Stop for rest and lunch.
Continue the kayaking itinerary along Yuhot, a broader river, with stops for rest and swimming (if the weather allows).
Arrive at the day end point of the itinerary. Setting a tent camp. Dinner cooked over the fire by our skillful cook. Evening around the fire. Night in tents.
Day 2
After breakfast pack and continue kayaking down Yuhot’ river, towards the great Volga river. If the group wishes, a stop in Myshkin is possible for s city sightseeing tour and a visit of a museum (for extra fee)..
Farewell lunch. Transfer to Uglich.
