In this tour, trekking through 3 most scenic mountain valleys of PriElbrussie area: Baksan, Adyl-Su and Adyr-Su, you will see magnificence of the mountains of the Main Caucasus Ridge, beauty of the blue glaciers, and brightness of Alpine meadows and endless forests.
Day 1
Arrive in Mineralnie Vody. A guide will be waiting for you at the airport. A bus trip to the Baksan valley (4,5h.). Check into a hotel. Dinner.
Day 2
Acclimatization hike to Cheget peak. Stay in the hotel.
Day 3
Day 4
Today we have to overcome the Kojavgan pass (3600m) to the Adyr-su valley. First the way crosses a small river flowing from the Djankuat glacier, and then it rises up the steep slope to a small snow-ice circus of the Kojavgan pass. The last pitch is a slope covered with hard snow. Descent begins down steep snow slope and after 3 hours of going down the glacier leads to the camp on a green ledge, overhanging the Adyr-su valley. This place allows to get a view of all the Adyr ridge. We descend down a steep trail to the valley, cross it and then go up the Adyr-Su valley to the Ullu-Tau Camp. Overnight in camp.
Day 5
Walk to the Mestiyskaya hut. Return to the Ullu-Tau camp.
Day 6
We go up to the Kulumkol. We stay at the camp named Paradise camp.
Day 7
We go up to the Kulumkol pass (3940m).Then we return back to the Adyr-su valley down a steep trail. Camp.Day 8
We go up to the Kichkidarskiy camp. Camp.
Day 9
We climb the Donkina pass (3950m) or the Golubev pass (3800m). Return to the Adyr-Su valley. The Ullu-Tau camp.
Day 10
We go down the Adyr-Su valley to the Verhniy Baksan village. Bus from that village to the hotel.
Day 11
Drive to Mineralnie Vody. Departure
