The Bystraya river

Runs in the central part of the peninsula. It is the second longest river in Kamchatka. The river head is at the bottom of Bakening volcano situated at the intersection of the Ganal’sky and the Valaginsky mountain ridges. At the bottom of Bakening three most well-known Kamchatka rivers begin – the Kamchatka, the Bystraya and the Avacha.
